In our classroom for the upcoming weeks
Newsletter to grade 4/5
For the past few months grade 4/5 has been busy working on documenting their learning while developing their collaboration and listening skills in French Immersion class. The students are almost done their Science projects, they will need to finish editing their descriptive/informative texts then include them in the Google slide with illustration to explain their thinking. The grade four is also working on a diorama of their animal's habitat and they will create a stop motion video of it. The grade five will finish the model of their human body system and document it with the app. 30 Hands.
In the next month...
Grade 4 - The students will learn more about mapping skills while creating a few different maps of Canada and maps of two of its regions. The focus will be land features and comparing two regions with different elevations, resources, climate etc...
Grade 5 - The students will learn more about Canada's governments while trying to find which level of government is responsible to find solutions to the problems they have found while investigating one of Canada's region.
